Acts 26:5-7

New Testament for Everyone

⁵ They have known already for a long time (if they are willing to testify!) that I lived as a Pharisee, according to the strictest sect of our religion. ⁶ And now I stand accused because of the hope of the promise made by God to our ancestors, ⁷ the hope for which our twelve tribes wait with earnest longing in their worship night and day. And it is this hope, O king, for which I am now accused by the Jews!
